Real-time inventory?
We were surprised by the request for real-time inventory control between the e-commerce site and the real-life store but not daunted! Morry's was a purveyor of luxury goods and spirits and they were opening not only a restaurant but an e-commerce operation as well.
Since some of the stock was in short supply, they needed to be sure online orders and in-store transactions did not conflict.
Execution
We had to ramp up some specific technicians for this job. They had to be certified in our e-commerce platform of choice, Microsoft Commerce Server.
Unfortunately, some client obstacles kept the full capabilities from launching fully and the site was eventually scuttled but it was a sweet site while it lasted!
